On August 9, we notified you of the date and location of the Avaya Shareholders Meeting. The meeting will be held on September 28, 2007 at the Hotel du Pont, Wilmington, not Dover as we previously stated.

We have been informed that Avaya will be holding a special shareholders meeting in Dover, Delaware on September 28th, 2007 at the Dupont Hotel. At stake will be the planned merger with Avaya, Silver Lake Partners III,L.P. and TPG Partners V, L.P.

CWA has been notified that on or about July 20, 2007, Avaya workers will begin receiving a letter asking them to voluntarily update their employee profile.

As a result of 2006 bargaining, an enhancement was added for anyone participating in the 401K Plan.
