Washington, D.C -- The Communications Workers of America will open contract negotiations with Avaya on May 1 for a new agreement covering 2,900 workers. The current contract expires May 27; negotiations will be held in Washington, D.C.

As you know, the contract with Avaya expires May 27th this year.
