On June 1st, CWA Local 9423 members conducted a "practice strike" at the Avaya building in Milpitas, California.

Bargaining Report for Local 3263 and Local 1365: After two 20-plus-hour negotiating sessions, we are able to sit down and write a report on the progress to date.

Some progress has been made in meetings with Avaya and the Union bargaining chairs so we are going back to the table for formal bargaining this evening.

After much debate and discussion tonight, we have reached a Tentative Agreement with Avaya on a new three year contract. Details will be sent out early next week. Below are highlights of the agreement.
