AFA-CWA has filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao and FAA Administrator Marion Blakely for failure to ensure the health and safety of flight attendants and other employees working in the airline industry.

140 former AT&T Wireless employees organize Cingular Wireless Retail Sales Unit in Maryland

A group of 140 former AT&T Wireless employees now making up Cingular Wireless's retail sales unit in Maryland organized with CWA on Sept. 20. They will be represented by CWA Local 2107. The American Arbitration Association officially certified union recognition for the group on Sept. 20.
