Q: What should we advise members regarding personal use of the internet at the workplace?

Almost one in 10 American adults — about 19 million people across the country each year — suffers from depression.

This year CWA awarded 65 scholarships to CWA members, spouses and children. The scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000. "It was wonderful to read so many thoughtful and heart felt essays from our members and their families," said CWA President Larry Cohen.

CWA reached a new agreement with AT&T to return Internet/DSL support work to the CWA bargaining unit, which potentially could create 2,000 new union jobs. This work currently is being contracted out both within the United States and overseas.
