This afternoon, the Cal OSHA Standards Board unanimously approved (6-0 vote) adoption of a Cal OSHA Aerosol Transmissible Disease (ATD) Standard.

Meeting started with the Company at 9:45 P.M., with Avaya producing their coveted “reject” rubber stamp once again.

The CWA Bargaining team is waiting for a response to the proposals passed to the Company at the 5:00 P.M. session.

Bargaining resumed this morning with meetings to address CWA proposed language regarding excessive work hours to Art. 14 Safety.

Avaya continues to insult CWA members and retirees with proposed assaults to our standard of living through loss of wages, reduction of savings plan contributions, suspension of Avaya Award monies, reduction of term pay (VTP) and unmentionable health care costs.
