Under the leadership of District 1 Vice President Chris Shelton and with the assistance of Ms. Micki Siegel de Hernandez, Director of the District's Occupational Safety and Health Program, the CWA Occupational Safety and Health Department conducted the CWA District 1 Occupational Safety and Health Retreat and Training Sessions, March 13-14, 2009.

Bargaining today was more of the same. We fought over the elimination of some key provisions of letter (ccc), the Employment Security letter.
