The Communications Workers of America strongly condemns the passage of H.R. 1120, Preventing Greater Uncertainty in Labor-Management Relations Act, in the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation is the latest example of an all-out assault by many Republicans on the National Labor Relations Board and on basic worker protections.

CWA commended President Barack Obama for putting forward three additional nominations to the National Labor Relations Board this week. These nominations, together with two previously announced, would restore the NLRB to full status and will ensure that a functioning NLRB can enforce workers' rights on the job.
