Some 153 House Democrats signed a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman calling on him to "take action to ensure better outcomes in our ongoing negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), particularly in countries that have lengthy histories of denying workers their rights, such as Vietnam."

New populism necessitates movement building, CWA President Larry Cohen said. "New populism can't just be the sum of the parts. We have to really struggle beyond our parts," he said, speaking at a Campaign for America's Future event focused on strategies for educating, energizing and mobilizing around an agenda for economic change.
