Last week a record number of Americans participated in the most fundamental act in our democracy - voting. We are able to go to the polls and elect our leaders thanks to our veterans who, through their service to our country, have preserved and protected this freedom.

This election, held during a global pandemic and under a President who has refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power, has been like no other. Yet Americans responded with resolve, voting in record numbers.

As expected, record-breaking voter participation and a large number of absentee ballots means that there is not yet a clear winner in the Presidential election.
