CWA:IBM Assaults Employees' Retirement Security

Worker Friendly' Buyout of Knight Ridder Newspapers Under Consideration
Washington, D.C., December 22 – One of the largest unions representing workers in the newspaper industry, the Newspaper Guild-Communications Workers of America, today announced a response to the possible sale of the Knight Ridder newspaper chain.
CWA, AT&T Reach Tentative Agreement
The Communications Workers of America, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and AT&T have reached a tentative agreement. The settlement covers nearly 12,000 workers and is subject to membership ratification.
Alliance Training Program Expands to Include CWA/NETT's On-Line, High Tech Training
