CWA local union presidents representing US Airways members and CWA staff are meeting with management to discuss the airline’s plans to continue operations. The carrier, hit hard by the industry downturn that followed the Sept.

CWA members are continuing their campaign of mobilization and activism at corporate annual meetings this season.

More than 180 members of CWA Local 6355, representing Missouri state workers, marched from the governor’s mansion to the state Capitol in Jefferson City on April 10 to rally for a $2,000 pay raise, a $50 cap on health care premiums, more staff and a halt to privatization.
