The future of the telecommunications industry is in good hands if a skills competition sponsored by CWA is any indication.

The kidnapping and brutal murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan made headlines around the world earlier this year.

Due in part to the IUE-CWA merger, but even more to the union’s emphasis on member-to-member fundraising, contributions to CWA-COPE for 2001 increased by $847,107 for a total of $2,644,784.
