April 28, 2015- Workers' Memorial Day- the day we mourn for our brothers and sisters who have suffered life-ending workplace safety and health tragedies, celebrate their lives, as well as fight like Hell for the living- is approaching quickly. Please get together with CWA locals or join together with central labor councils and other union and coalition members to plan an event in your area. Secret 'Fast Track' Process and Legislation Shows Disdain for U.S. Workers, Communities
The "Fast Track," or TPA, legislation introduced today, and in fact, the entire process surrounding its inception, continues the lack of transparency and disdain for U.S. workers and communities that has been the hallmark of the past five years of negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
