The Deutsche Telekom shareholders meeting was a marathon, but the T-Mobile USA workers and CWAers who attended the meeting are still pumped by the support they got from members of ver.di, the union representing German workers at T-Mobile. Hard work by CWA activists was key to getting 26 Democratic members of the House Education and Labor Committee to sign on to a letter calling on Deutsche Telekom, the parent company of T-Mobile USA, to protect and respect workers' rights in the U.S.

At the Deutsche Telekom annual meeting in Cologne, Germany next week, members of ver.di, the union representing T-Mobile and DT workers in Germany, will be leafleting participants as they enter the meeting.
