CWA Local 7270 and Frontier Communications in Minnesota reached a tentative agreement just prior to mid-night on June 10th. June 11th our Bargaining Committee met with the Company to review the finalized language included in the master tentative agreement.

Frontier Communications has formally announced, it will seek to require bargaining unit employees to take a total of twelve days off without pay during the remainder of 2009. It has already imposed this on its current non-bargaining employees.

The Union Bargaining Committee reconvened on Tuesday, 03/24/09, to be briefed on everything that had transpired off-table since the second, Tentative Agreement (T A) was reached on Friday, 03/13/09, at 2:55 PM and caucus.
