Baltimore Guild Members Vote to Authorize Strike

With their contract expiring June 24, TNG-CWA members at the Baltimore Sun voted almost unanimously to give the union the authority to call a strike if no agreement is reached. Issues include keeping quality jobs, better wages as well as other key concerns.

NJ Committee Backs Call Center Bill

The State Government Committee of the NJ Assembly approved a measure to better protect consumers by requiring customer call center employees to identify themselves, their location, and their actual employer. The bill is being considered by the full Assembly.
