The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA filed a notice of appeal to overturn the bankruptcy court's approval of the pact between United Airlines and the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation (PBGC) that would terminate members' defined benefit pension plan.

CWA is calling on shareholders of Citizens Communications Co. to support good corporate governance and by voting against the reelection of members of the Compensation Committee of the company's board of directors.
