CWA Locals did an incredible job this year of fundraising for our Charity of Choice, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF). In 2012 you raised $277,010.36, an almost $25,000 increase over 2011, and a couple hundred dollars shy of what we was raised in 2010 when we had 57,000 more members. I couldn?t be prouder of the work you did.

As a follow-up on our CWA-UNI activities during the 57th convening of the United Nations Committee on the Status of Women, we have the pleasure of sharing this new video and express our gratitude to all who actively took part in it.

Thanks to massive support from our allies, who posted on Facebook, who emailed Cablevision, who attended rallies, we are pleased to report that as of this afternoon, Cablevision has re-hired all but one of the illegally locked out technicians in Brooklyn.
