CWA's contract with Frontier in California expires later this year.

Recent press reports indicate that Frontier management is considering a bankruptcy filing by mid-March.

As most of you are aware, Frontier Communications has been experiencing financial difficulty and the company’s stock is in severe decline. There are many rumors flying around about the possibility of bankruptcy, the future of CEO Dan McCarthy and what it means for CWA members and retirees.

CWAers have been calling on Frontier to invest in its network and workforce to improve service quality.

Members at the Los Angeles Times reached a tentative agreement with management.
