In the middle of mobilizing members to fight for a fair Contract, Local 1152 has been working hard to defeat Fast Track and stop the TPP. They understand that, even if we get a good Contract from AT&T, this bill will put all our jobs and many of the laws that protect workers, the environment and even our health, in jeopardy. New York City Joins Growing Numbers of Cities Opposing the Trans-Pacific Partnership

On the heels of Mayor Bill de Blasio criticizing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) as a "raw deal" and "huge mistake," the New York City Council voted to pass a resolution declaring the city a "TPP-free zone" and urging Congress to reject "Fast Track" legislation for the trade deal.
