CWAers under the AT&T Orange Mobility contract announced that they have voted to give CWA President Cummings the authority to call a strike if negotiations between CWA and the telecom company fail to reach an agreement.

The Union Bargaining Committee continues to meet with the Company. Unfortunately, there is very little to report this week, although there have been some positive developments. We have received more of the information we need to pass informed proposals. We are going to continue to push the issues that are important to you. Mobilization has been crucial to continued movement at the table. Please stay in touch with your mobilizers, and keep the pressure on AT&T.

With a contract expiration date looming, AT&T Orange Mobility members participated in informational pickets across the country to show that we are ready to do what it takes to get a strong contract.

The Union Bargaining Committee continues to meet with the Company. While there has been progress, the Company is not taking our main concerns seriously. Your bargaining team has worked very hard to put together proposals that would address your needs and make progress at the table.
