CWA President Morton Bahr issued the following statement on the affiliation of the United American Nurses with the AFL-CIO. The AFL-CIO Executive Council has authorized the issuance of a charter to UAN; delegates to the UAN National Labor Assembly will vote on the charter next month.
Retired CWA Staffer Daniel Boone Dies

Daniel M. Boone, a retired administrative assistant to three CWA vice presidents, died at his Wyoming ranch March 26 after suffering a heart attack. He was 72.
