House Republicans sent a letter to Speaker Hastert asking him to allow a vote on legislation that would repeal any part of the new Bush administration rules that take away workers' overtime pay rights.

CWA and BellSouth Corp. opened bargaining June 14 in Atlanta for a new contract covering nearly 48,000 workers. The current agreement expires Aug. 7.
