The crowds are getting bigger as the march moves into Downstate. More cars are honking and more members are joining the march, with 17 marchers going 24 miles on Day 5.

Day 4 was another day of activism with the local Occupy movement, with marchers linking up with twenty young activists camping in downtown Poughkeepsie near the Bank of America.

The day - and 20 miles - flew by, say marchers, who started in Catskill and ended in Kingston. Once again, passing drivers honked their horns, with some stopping to offer encouragement and good wishes. Rallying with members of CWA Local 1120, local labor unions and community supporters, the marchers sent a message to Verizon Wireless.
