During the 73rd Annual Convention this year in Las Vegas, NV Civil Rights and Equity and Women?s committee members held discussions with a number of delegate visitors including CWA District 4 Vice President Seth Rosen and his assistant Linda Hinton as well as District 7 Vice President Mary Taylor, At Large Diversity Board Members Nestor Soto and Madelyn Elder.

Tom Gaines - What bygone era does Verizon management want? Do we need to go back to the era when workers were beaten by hired thugs if they even tried to unionize? Or maybe when men would stand on the corner and a flatbed would pull up and some dude would ask, "Who wants work today?" How about the days of the sweatshop where child labor was legal and you could be forced to work 16 hours without a break?
