Environmental justice, it’s a labor issue, it’s a human rights issue, it’s a global issue. On this week's episode we were joined by Aida, Mallori,and Halleli CWA members from EWU who discussed union busting and workers rights behind the scenes of an environmental justice organization. We were also joined by Chloe Tamula of CWA’s education department and Chloe gave us a little snippet of CWA’s upcoming environmental justice training and how we are doing our best to educate our members on environmental justice and injustice.

This week’s episode we were joined by Amanda Bratcher from Next Gen to discuss voter registration drives and building a stronger youth presence in CWA and beyond. We were also joined by District 3’s Big Three Mustafa Hassan, R’Amon Teter, and Ed Braiser. They gave us the low down on CWA’s President’s meeting and The Poor People’s campaign March. 

All things Juneteenth and activism from the college and retiree perspective. We were joined by Fred smith, Sylvia James, and Gwen Parker who was also our Spotlight of the week. 

We celebrated Men’s Mental Health week and we were joined by Kimberlene Lanier to discuss the North Houston Career Carnival. Walmart was our union buster of the week and we spotlighted CWA Human Rights’ department’s own Joseph McCue.

Happy Pride month! On this week's episode we celebrated Pride and gave a little history lesson on Pride Month. Tesla was our union buster of the week and we spotlighted AFA-CWA Vice President  Keturah Johnson for her contributions to the advancement  of LBBTQIA+ rights. We wrapped up the show with an open discussion about voting rights and utilizing your voice at the polls.

We celebrated Military Appreciation month with veterans from CWA local 6215, Treasurer Lamar Banks and spotlighted Executive Vice President David Marshall. Nike was our union buster of the week for their mistreatment and under payment of garment workers abroad.

We broadcasted live from the 53rd International Coalition of Black Trade Unionists convention in Houston, Texas. We spotlighted Houston native and our very own International President Claude Cummings Jr. and discussed the impact and importance of Period Poverty Week.
