As all of us in the labor movement know, if you don't have a seat at the table, you're on the menu. For decades, corporate-backed politicians have traded away our jobs for corporate profits, and we were on the menu.

What makes our union powerful is our willingness to show up and show out for one another. I was elected President of our great union with a promise to unite us and increase our reach. That process is underway and the results are in: unity is strength.
