Stand Up to Verizon and Stand Up for Workers on August 11

Join thousands of CWA and IBEW workers on August 11, 2012 in Philadelphia at the Workers Stand for America Rally.

Workers and allies from all over the nation will gather to sign a Second Bill of Rights and focus attention on the needs of working families. We’ll kick off with a rally at Verizon’s offices at 9th and Race Streets, at 10 a.m. Our message: We’re Standing Up to Verizon!

Event Day Information: Meet promptly at 9:45 am at 900 Race Street, Philadelphia.

We will march at 10:30 am to rally at Eakins Oval, in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where we will join more than 30,000 people from all over the country to stand up for the middle class and urge all Americans, especially elected officials, to stand with us.

It's time for everyone to stand up and be counted.
