You guessed it: Into the pockets of Verizon Communications executives like CEO Lowell McAdam. His compensation recently tripled from $7.2 million to $23.1 million per year. Meanwhile, Verizon Wireless has raised health care costs for its workers by thousands of dollars, and has slashed benefit levels even as its costs dropped dramatically.
