Want your dues faster? See if you can get your employers to send us Excel files instead of paper reports!  

Not sure which of your units may be doing that? Check the “Import Type” column of the My PU’s report on the local portal.

        stay up to date with any dues processing changes, deadlines, or issues that require your  
        attention.

        Convention and President's Meeting Information: Be prepared and stay ahead of the
        game! Get the scoop on upcoming events, vote eligibility reports, and relevant
        information that’s important to your local.

        Membership Cards: Ensure your membership information is always current and receive
        prompt alerts for membership card issuance. We are excited to announce that
        membership cards will be distributed digitally this year, more information to come.
        Please make sure your members’ emails are updated by November 1, 2023.

        New Aptify Features: We're constantly enhancing Aptify to make your user experience

Update Local and Officers Roster in Aptify

With some local elections underway, it is time to ensure that our Local Officer Rosters in Aptify are accurate and up to date. Your participation and commitment to maintaining accurate records are crucial for a smooth and successful election process. Reviewing and updating your local's address, contact, and website information in Aptify will help us ensure that the local directory on our CWA website is up-to-date.

The Updating Local and Officer Roster in Aptify guide is a user-friendly resource that will walk you through the process, making it a breeze to maintain and update local officer records (attached).

You can also navigate to the Aptify Learning Lab, accessible through your computer, tablet, or mobile device by login into your Aptify account – click HERE.

The Verifying Local Information Currently in Aptify Guide can be used to help update your Local Union’s information (attached).

FREE Website, Email, and Other Online Tools for Locals

Did you know that CWA offers an easy-to-use solution for Local websites called Union Hall? The platform is free to use - the only cost is your domain name registration, which is usually less than $10 per year. We even provide phone and email support. Learn more at cwa-union.org/for-locals/websites.

CWA Locals also have free access to the complete Action Network toolset, which includes the ability to send unlimited emails to your members and to create online actions like petitions, forms, event RSVP pages, and letter campaigns. Text messaging is also available for a minimal fee - about a half-cent per message.
