CWA-COPE
As many of you are aware, CWA-COPE has been transitioning to Aptify for processing PAF contributions. This change improves data integrity, puts our members' information in one place, and gives locals the ability to see data in their EBiz dashboard.
The transition began in January, though we've been working on this project for almost two years. We took time to ensure we followed federal and internal regulations, we tested, and we resolved a lot of little unpredictable issues.
And now, we're thrilled to tell you that the COPE/Compliance team is closing COPE PRD months in Aptify. In order to see member contributor data for your local, we’ve attached instructions for accessing the Reports section of EBiz.
If you need assistance, email the COPE/Compliance Department at cwacope@cwa-union.org or call 202-434-1491.
Update Local and Officers Roster in Aptify
With local elections just around the corner, it is time to ensure that our Local Officer Rosters in Aptify are accurate and up to date. Your participation and commitment to maintaining accurate records are crucial for a smooth and successful election process. Reviewing and updating your local's address, contact, and website information in Aptify will help us ensure that the local directory on our CWA website is up-to-date.

Membership Cards Request Readiness
Every 4 years, locals may request CWA membership cards for all active members. To streamline the process of requesting your membership cards, it is important to update your membership data in Aptify. To guarantee we have accurate membership information, and our members receive their union cards, please review, and make all necessary changes to member names, mailing addresses, and member statuses.
The Membership Cards Request Readiness Guide will walk you through the steps to review and verify your membership details to ensure accuracy (attached).

Introducing the Aptify Grievance Management Module - COMING SOON!
We are excited to announce our new Grievance Management module in Aptify!
The module is designed to streamline the process of filing and managing grievances within our organization. Aptify is our Cloud-based membership management software, which means you can have convenient web-based access without the need to manage physical paperwork.
With this module, local, district, and sector users can easily configure collective bargaining agreements’ grievance procedures, employer and member data, upload supporting documentation, and manage important deadlines to manage member grievances and track everything to get to a resolution.
To ensure the security of sensitive membership data, the Grievance Management module implements varying levels of user access ensuring that users can only interact with grievances that fall within their authorized scope.
To ensure a comprehensive approach, we added links to Microsoft SharePoint, serving as a centralized repository for collective bargaining agreements, letter templates, and relevant supporting documents related to past and ongoing grievances. SharePoint access.
As we prepare for a union-wide launch, we welcome local, sector, and district users to join our pilot program to navigate the module and offer feedback.
We have three demos planned this month. If you’d like to sign-up to be part of our Grievance Management module test group, please email AptifySupport@cwa-union.org to request more information.
