CWA Applauds Commerce Department for Leveling the Playing Field for American Workers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) union released the following statement in response to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s announcement of updates to its antidumping and countervailing duties (AD/CVD) regulations.

The Communications Workers of America issued the following statement:

Once more, the Biden administration is leveling the playing field for American workers and helping bring jobs back after decades of offshoring. Our union applauds the updates to U.S. trade remedy laws that will give our government the tools needed to fight back against unfair trade practices and defend the rights and livelihoods of American workers. This new rule will crack down on companies that move jobs overseas, underpay workers, and destroy the environment in order to dump goods at unfair prices.
