CWA/OFS Bargaining Report 4/Days 5 & 6

Brothers and sisters,

We met with the company yesterday and passed proposals for improvements in the current healthcare plans. The company passed proposals on wages, retiree healthcare, and more intelligent proposals on active healthcare. We are definitely not where we need to be on any of these issues but after we told the company we are willing to fight for what we deserve the company seems to have come to their senses somewhat.

The Union bargaining committee met today to finalize the rest of our proposals and will be meeting with the company again on Monday.

Stay mobilized and stay strong and we will prevail!!
