NOKIA BARGAINING REPORT #12
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Company and your Bargaining Team met again today. Due to the many outstanding data requests and the ultimate goal of reaching a fair and equitable agreement, the Company and the Union agreed to extend the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for another month. The new expiration date is August 1, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.
The Company and the Union had conversation on the Motor Vehicle Usage Plan and costs associated with its fleet, along with alternative ways to move tools and materials. We continue to pass data requests in hopes of coming up with a comprehensive proposal to cut costs that will ensure job security for our Members.
We will break for the weekend and continue to bargain later next week. Remember, if you encounter quality issues with 3P Contractors or are sent to clean up their mess, please send the information via e-mail to the Bargaining Team: cwalocal1090@yahoo.com
