Westminster, CO - Local 7777 - Black Tuesday

Following is a report from Westminster, Co (CWA Local 7777).  This report came from Dawn Barraco and was submitted to her by the building coordinator.

We had two teams- CMS and Legacy where everyone was wearing some piece of black and at least 20% of the membership was in 100% black (shirt, pants, shoes).  We had 2 ladies that dressed in black from head to toe right down to their hats, jewelry, sunglasses and bags (there's a picture attached).  The winner of the most black was a tie between these two at 11 pieces of visible black!  This was a huge success and everyone loved it!  They especially loved that we as a union were doing something to recognize the company's diminished focus on what our member's really care about- our customers!  It was the best mobilization effort yet! The "wall of  buttons" where some of these pictures were taking is directly across from the training room where they are training the scabs.  People are feeling a bit angered by the fact that the scabs appear to be getting more training than we have! We just keep on getting stronger here in Denver!
