Wednesday's Action at Bargaining Site

At 8:00 AM EDT on Wednesday, March 25, C&T Local Presidents from across the country joined Local 2252 Officers, Members, Retirees, UNITE-HERE, AFGE, Labor Federation, Postal Workers, CLC & the CWA Bargaining team for a rally at the site of negotiations in Oakton, VA.  Ratty Randall, the 20-foot inflatable rat, was also in attendance!  

Cars coming down the main road in front of the building were encouraged to honk their support of the picketers.  At the end of our informational picket, we walked across the grounds and continued to rally right outside the windows where the bargaining teams sat in session.  We continued chanting "No Contract, No Peace", "Contract Now" and more until we moved on to another AT&T location for another noisy informational picket.

Local 2252 had some great picket signs including signs saying "Wanted (with picture and name of AT&T bargainer) to bargain a fair contract.
