VIS Contract Ratified
The contract with VIS has been ratified by a better than two-to-one margin. The vote was 461 yes, 230 no, and three blank ballots, for a total of 694 votes cast.
This first contract was won as a result of a 10-month bargaining mobilization fight that drew on the efforts and support of all VIS members. We can be very proud of the many contributions that helped produce this agreement.
With this contract in place, VIS members can look forward to a productive working relationship, one that will benefit both workers and VIS. Most important, this contract means that you, as a VIS worker, have a real voice in the workplace.
