Update From Anthem on Cyber Attack - Spam Email Alert

Vice President Bill Bates received the following information from Anthem today:

Dear Frontier Employee,

Anthem advises that some of their employees have received emails from do-not-reply@anthern.com (Anthem is misspelled on the email address) stating their account has been hacked and to click a link in the email to receive  free credit monitoring.    Anthem is issuing a press release today to warn people that any emails received in this regard are not from Anthem and should not be opened.

If you receive an email from the above noted address or others trying similar actions, please delete the e-mail immediately.

Anthem has confirmed the official notice to affected members and an offer for free credit monitoring will be sent via letters in the mail.    Any email asking you to “click here to enroll in credit monitoring” is not valid and should be deleted immediately.

Anthem’s dedicated website www.AnthemFacts.com  allows members to access information such as frequently asked questions and answers. It will continually update this website.  It has also established a dedicated toll-free number -1-877-263-7995 - for current and former members to call with questions related to this incident.
