T&T Leadership Conference 2016 - T&T On The Move
To: CWA Local T&T Presidents
Subject: T&T Leadership Conference 2016 – T&T On The Move
Sisters and Brothers:
Thank you for helping to make my first Conference as your Vice President such a success!
There is no way we could put this together and present it to you without the assistance of so many others.
I would like to thank President Chris Shelton, Secretary/Treasurer Sara Steffens, District Vice Presidents Richard Honeycutt, Linda Hinton, Claude Cummings, Brenda Roberts and Tom Runnion. All the Staff associated with these Districts who attended as well as Local 3108 President Steve Wisniewski, and their members for helping us put together a great Conference. The various Employee Resource Center and Healthcare Coordinators who assisted us and our members every day, we say Thank You All!
As requested, attached are some of the materials covered in the conference. CWA Counsel, Pat Shea’s, condensed presentation (only), the full presentation which includes summaries and the actual cases will be posted online. Also attached, the grievance process packet, Les Leopold’s, Financial Strip Mining power point and the FMCS presentation. I urge you to check in with your Regional FMCS offices to see what types of training is available for your Locals and/or State Councils. If you recall, the price is right- FREE. I am also including information on Special Olympics. This is a worthwhile organization to partner with and we appreciated their Presentation of Colors at our conference. We will post all of this information on our T&T website.
In closing, there will be updated contact sheets forwarded to the individual Bargaining Units. As soon as they are completed, we will email them out.
Clearly, none of us can do this work by ourselves and with the great help from our Staff and Secretaries in our office, and your continued assistance, we continue to take this Labor Movement forward.
In Unity,
Lisa Bolton, Vice President
