Three Weeks....and Still Building

Almost three weeks have gone by since our AT&T Internet Services Contract expiration and mobilization activities are still going strong. 

Yesterday the Bargaining Team and Bargaining Chair Bill Bates held a conference call with Local Presidents and Mobilizers to update them on the stalled negotiations.  That was followed by a call with the Mobilizers for a report on last week’s activities and to plan actions for next week. Last week’s leaflet about AT&T purchasing the naming rights to Cowboys Stadium was distributed in many locations. See the leaflet here.

There will be a rally at AT&T Headquarters in Dallas on August 6th and support activities throughout that week in solidarity with it.

Below are some pictures from Local 4900's informational picket line last Wednesday in Indianapolis.  The sign says "We are not complaining about the work. We want to see our hard work reflected in our pay." That's the perfect message!  WE are fighting for fairness. WE care about the customers.  AT&T needs to step up and do the right thing.
