No-Cost AD&D Coverage On and Off the Job

Part of the Union Star program provides all responding CWA members with $10,000 of accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) workplace insurance that covers them traveling to, from and while at work. This coverage also includes $5,000 of worldwide AD&D insurance which covers members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The coverage is at no-cost to CWA members for one full year. Important Note: Members must complete and return the enrollment form to activate their coverage. No coverage is in-force until the enrollment form is received. To receive form, call 1-800-465-4355.

Up to $200,000 Additional AD&D Coverage

Part II of the program — the option for CWA members to purchase additional coverage — is available in amounts ranging from $25,000 to $200,000 for members with the option of adding family coverage.

Supplemental Programs Available

Part III of the program is additional supplemental benefits for CWA members to select from, which help fill the gaps in their current health and welfare benefits. Whole and term life programs, along with hospital accident coverage and cancer plans are available for individuals and families.

Member Participation Benefits CWA

Every time a member responds, the Pediatric Aids Foundation benefits. AIL will make a contribution on behalf of the CWA to the Pediatric Aids Foundation for every enrollment in the no-cost coverage along with a contribution for every optional AD&D purchase.
