Tentative Pact for Members at BellSouth Internet
CWA reached a tentative five-year agreement with BellSouth Corp. covering about 500 employees of BellSouth Internet Services, just before the Aug. 6 contract expiration.
CWA District 3 Vice President Noah Savant said the agreement "achieves our members' key goals of obtaining comparable wage increases with other employees and maintaining health care coverage." The committee also was able to negotiate work rule changes that will be very beneficial to our members over the life of the contract, Savant noted.
More details about the agreement and ratification information are being provided to CWA members. The agreement covers BellSouth Internet Services workers located in Georgia.
