OFS Bargaining Report #4

Day 4 of negotiations commenced at 10:18 a.m.

Today’s bargaining session began with the Company accepting the Union proposal to add “Brother” and “Sister” to Article 15 – Pay Treatment for Absences, 2. Death in Family.  That was followed by the Company rejecting the Union counter to their proposal on Article 9 – Wages, 2. Wage Progression. Upon rejecting our proposal they withdrew their proposal.

The Company then passed a proposal regarding Article 22 – Welfare and Training Program, 1. Training Subcommittee & Alliance.

The Union then passed a proposal with improvements to Article 4 – Union Representation.

We passed language that would address the disparity in the current Article 9 – Wages.

The subcommittee met and had a long discussion regarding vacation scheduling and the attendance policy.
