OFS Bargaining Report – Day 21

~ Bargaining Report for Local 3263 & Local 1365 ~

Bargaining Report for Tuesday, June 6, 2006:  Because the Bargaining Teams were making little headway at the table over health care, both parties agreed to break out in subcommittees.  One subcommittee, Bill Bates and Clem Johnson; were to work on trying to resolve the major differences between the Union and the Company on their health care proposals and counters.  Bill and Clem spent nearly the entire day going at it over the health care issue.

The second subcommittee, Gary Nilsson and Dave Lasley for the Union and Rick Williams and Patrice Dubois for the Company, met regarding the differences over the grievance and arbitration issues.  We do believe progress was made regarding those concerns, and we will continue to aggressively address the above issues as we move forward.

The Union Bargaining Team also worked on counter proposals into the evening in preparation to present to the Company at a later time.

We also worked on the remaining Local Union bargaining issues still remaining, for presentation to the Company.
