Tentative Agreement Summary

Wage increases

6/3/13:  1%

1/6/14:  2%

1/5/15:  2%

1/4/16:  2.5%

Signing Bonus of $250 upon ratification;

STIP remains at 4% payout with new payout dates aligning with the new fiscal year;

Once an employee reaches the maximum progression step, they will be converted to the New Wage Schedule for New Hires/Rehires after 1/1/06, commencing at the next March or September progression change (whichever comes first) in effect at the time;

New Hires Employees who work 7-Day Coverage will now receive a differential of $.50 per hour;

Healthcare stays at 85% but there were increases in premiums, deductibles and some co-pays.  There will also be an option for a high deductible plan that has lower premiums.  Retiree Health Care remains as an affordable option, details of which will be provided at contract explanation;

We have added "Brother" and "Sister" to 5 day bereavement leave;

3 days of EWD can be used in 1 hour increments, 1 day in 2 hour increments;

Alliance will be funded going forward at $50,000 per year;

New MOA for Labor Management Committees to improve employee/workplace issues;

45 month agreement expires 3/31/17.

 

The Bargaining Team unanimously approves of the Tentative Agreement.
