AT&T Internet Services Bargaining Report #11
The Company and the Union met in full session today.
The Union first passed a new MOA - NIC Post and Bid. The Union’s next two proposals were second passes on Article 7 – Classification of Employees, and for a new MOA requiring employee access to their personnel records. The Company had earlier rejected the Union’s first proposals.
The Union again requested that the Company clarify the intent of Article 10, Section 10.11. The Company advised they had the information and would provide it to the Union. The Union proposed additional language to improve Article 10 – Working Conditions in Section 10.11 – Working in a Different Title, Section 10.12 – Travel and Temporary Work Locations, and Section 10.13, Overnight Trips.
The Union then passed a counter-proposal to Company #1 on the Benefits MOA. The proposal was discussed in great detail to provide the Company with a clear understanding of the Union’s position on employee benefits.
The Company and the Union reached tentative agreements on Articles 1, 3, 5, 6 and 8.
The Company and the Union adjourned for the afternoon and will reconvene tomorrow.
