Missouri Public Workers Stand Up, Fight Back

Missouri public workers will not back down.

On Monday, about 200 union members – including CWA, UFCW and many more – rallied along Frontier Park in St. Charles to pressure the Republican-dominated state legislature to vote down paycheck deception, anti-prevailing wage and "right-to-work" for less bills. And over the weekend, workers went door-to-door to educate their friends, family and neighbors about the anti-worker legislation.

“I’ve been knocking doors to hold my state senator accountable for siding with special interests and extremists over working people. Voters at home need to hear what’s really going on in Jefferson City,” said CWA Local 6355 President Bradley Harmon at Saturday’s canvass in Springfield. “It is time our elected officials start working for the voters, not special interests.”
