In The News: Catucci, CWAers Raise $15,000 to Defeat ALS

More than 100 CWA staff, District 2 members and other supporters raised in excess of $15,000 to help find a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease when they participated in a "Walk to D'Feet ALS" in Washington, D.C.

Joining them were CWA Executive Vice President Jeff Rechenbach and District 2 Vice President Pete Catucci, who is himself battling the disease and has become an outspoken advocate for stem cell research, which scientists believe might yield a cure.

The CWA team, "For Pete's Sake," was named "Rookie Team of the Year" for its contribution.
