CWA BARGAINING REPORT #14

The Union and the Company met today. 

The Union submitted a number of questions regarding the Company’s proposal to change the Disability Benefits plan. The Union passed three proposals related to Job Posting and Bidding, Loaning  Employees;  and  modifying  Article  41.  We  also  delivered  into  the  hands  of  the Company, a copy of the Unfair Labor Practice Charge that was submitted to the National Labor Relations Board on Monday. The charge involves the Company’s failure to notify the Union of changes to the working conditions of our members. 

The Bargaining Committee wants to recognize Locals 2003 and 2007 for their mobilization activities today. Everyone should be making plans to attend the rally this weekend in front of

1500 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25396 from 12:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
